Posthumous, three-quarter-length portrait of Sir Philip Sidney, possibly done by Hieronimo Custodis from an original attributed to Cornelis Ketel, 1578. Sidney stands facing the viewer with one hand on his hip (or his sword-hilt). He wears a small ruff, a gorget, and doublet made to resemble armour. Longleat House.
